MK Re-entry Study
Murree Christian School was opened in 1956 near the town of Murree in the north east of Pakistan. Ian and Isabel Murray began their work in Murree in 1962. Over the years they have been involved in many different aspects of the school and of the missionary community as a whole. Ian has taught Mathematics, Science, Physical Education, Bible, Computer Science and History (to name but a few) whilst Isabel has taught in the Primary/Elementary school between being the school book keeper and latterly the Director's Secretary.

This report is a result of Ian and Isabel's trips to North America, UK, Europe, Australia & New Zealand. They met with, and carried out a survey of, well over two hundred former pupils of Murree Christian School. The purpose of the questionnaire was to find out if the Murree Christian School has in the past successfully prepared its pupils for re-entry into their 'Home' country. It also looks at possible ways that the students, parents and school staff could be better prepared for the difficulties they will face when they return to their 'Home'. In addition to this it considers methods of strengthening the Alumni/Former Students' Association.
