Erich is an MK from Austria so we enjoy the flavor of our different backgrounds by eating at various ethnic restaurants and playing soccer in a co-ed city league as well as many other things.  When it's a questionable item like baked chicken, I tend to eat those things with my hands and Erich will use a fork and a knife -- though we are beginning to rub off on each other... Erich leads a Bible study each week that is mixed saved and unsaved in it.  He thoroughly enjoys it and it is exciting to see some of the college kids beginning to take a stand. Our lives are very good but Erich and I long for the day when we get to really "go home" to be with Jesus. November 21, 2000 we had twin girls Joelle (which means "she that knows that the Lord is God") and Sophia (which means "wisdom"). They we full-term with weights of 7.6 and 6.8. I never knew I was carrying that much baby. It was a wonderful pregnancy...surprising, especially with twins...and everything went smoothly with delivery. We are so thankful to God for two healthy babies. Joelle and Sophia are now five months old and we just enjoy them so much. Also, the Lord is opening the door for us to join YWAM's (Youth With A Mission)newest medical mercy ship "Africa Mercy" for its maiden voyage projected to sail in about 2-3 years from now...it is still being furnished in London. We would probably be on the ship for 5-7 years. This has been a dream of John and I and we are looking forward to seeing how the details unfold. If anyone is traveling in our neck of the woods, down south here, please remember that you have a place to stay.
